Nick is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor.  He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Relations and Biblical Studies from Atlanta Christian College and received his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy Specializing in Child and Adolescent Counseling from Richmont Graduate University.  

With the growing decline of relationships today Nick strives to help couples and families develop a healthy foundation to experience their lives in the fullest.  As a Gottman Level 2 Certified Therapist he enjoys the opportunity of being a part of the healing process for couples and utilizes empirically validated techniques to rebuild and solidify their relationships.  Conflict resolution, communication skills, affair recovery, pornography, trust, and security are among the many different focuses of his couples’ work.  Additionally, as a Prepare / Enrich certified therapist, he also works with premarital and pre-engagement couples to help them decide to and begin their lifelong relationship with a healthy start by teaching them a variety of healthy communication and conflict resolution skills, and more importantly how to stay connected with each other.

Nick has extensive experience working with a variety of child and adolescent related concerns in an inpatient setting.  Issues directly related to depression and anxiety have become a primary focus with many of the adolescents he has worked with.  Additionally, much of his professional experience has focused on treating trauma related concerns.  Having a passion to work with adolescents, Nick strives to help them reach their greatest potentials as well as equipping parents with the necessary tools to guide their children in this process.  He has facilitated a number of parenting seminars designed specifically at teaching parents helpful strategies to utilize in raising their children in today’s society.  

A native of south Florida, Nick moved to Atlanta in pursuit of his education and has lived in the metro area for over 20 years.  He enjoys playing music and any opportunity to be in the outdoors with his family.
